Notre Dame de Paris forever (for this Easter weekend)

 This morning of April 16 in Japan time (at night of April 15 in Paris), my daughter came up to me and said, 'Mom, Notre Dame is burning!'. I was astonished to hear that and got up suddenly.

 This news happening in Paris, far away from Tokyo, seemed something very close to us.

 Actually, I and my daughter,, we visited Notre Dame last month, listening to a messe and we even went up to the top of the Bell Tower, despite a heavy wind.

 I felt very shocked and sad to see the Notre Dame in fire. Notre Dame has 850 years of history and it exists with people living there, with all the joys and sorrows......

 With good will of many people from all over the world, Notre Dame will be reborn. The bells of Notre Dame will ring solennel forever...... My thoughts and prays go to Notre Dame for this weekend Easter.
